4 wanted in robbery, shooting at car wash

One man was armed with a handgun

HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public's help in identifying four suspects involved in an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon last month.  

On Sept. 23, around 9:47 p.m., a man was washing his vehicle at a car wash located in the 7400 block of Bissonnet Street when police say a gray 2012-2014 Toyota Camry drove up next to him.

Four black males got out of the car, one armed with a handgun.  

The man washing his car sprayed the armed man with a water pressure gun and attempted to run away, but was shot in the arm.

The four men then fled the scene in the Toyota Camry.

Video surveillance cameras captured images of two of the suspects.

The first suspect is described as black male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 lbs. with shoulder length dreadlocks.

The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 lbs., with short hair.

The third suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 6 feet 1 inches tall, 170 lbs., armed with a handgun.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect(s) in this case. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477)  or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org.
