HOUSTON -

According to officials, the man who led police on a chase, then bailed into a neighborhood on Friday, was found hiding in trees in the woods.

The suspect, who was driving a van, drove at high speeds from the Beltway to Highway 290 to I-10.

The driver eventually pulled over on the Katy Freeway near Wirt Road and fled.

He then jumped off the overpass, ran through a creek and disappeared near a residential neighborhood along a street called Hickory Shadows.

Police have brought out K-9 units in the search for the suspect.

Houston police tell us the suspect is DNice Palm, who is wanted in connection to an aggravated kidnapping on Thursday.

In that incident, a woman was robbed and stuffed in the trunk of a vehicle at the Tuscany Apartments off Bering Drive near Woodway in southwest Houston.

The suspects allegedly took the woman's purse, stuffed her in the trunk of her vehicle and drove off.

Witnesses called police who caught up with the suspects at a fast food restaurant. One suspect -- Travon Baul -- was taken into custody on Thursday.
