Police search for suspect who shot, killed man in NW Harris Co.

Witnesses say 2 men involved in some kind of altercation

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Sheriff's deputies are looking for a suspect who shot and killed another man in northwest Harris County.

Witnesses told Harris County Sheriff's Office investigators two men were involved in some kind of altercation at a gas station that ended with a shooting at the intersection nearby.

The victim was found in the roadway at Fry Road and Younglake.

"We had a witness say that it started there and then it moved from the gas station and then moved to another location and then eventually ended up in the roadway," said Greg Pinkens with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Alfredo Vizcarra told Local 2 he was standing near the gas station when he noticed the victim walking back to his truck, parked at the business. He said the victim then followed the suspect's truck onto Fry Road.

"He comes right behind him, I don't know if he pegs him but he got right to the side and it didn't take him a minute. Pow! That's when all five shots rang out," said Vizcarra.

Vizcarra said the suspect left the scene in a black Ford F-150 pickup truck.
