HOUSTON – A man is in the hospital after someone shot him in the back.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Villas De Palmas Apartments on South Gessner near Town Park.

The man was shot in the parking lot of the complex.
When officers questioned him, they say he refused to describe the person who shot him and insisted it was an accident.
The man was rushed to the hospital, we're told he is expected to survive.
