Police search for man in bank robbery

HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for a man they said robbed a Comerica bank in the 3500 block of highway 6 and Westpark on Thursday.

Police said the man walked in around 2:54 p.m., made a verbal threat and said he had a weapon.

The bank teller gave the robber some money and police say he walked out got into a green minivan then drove away.

Police describe the robber as a black male 5 feet 8 inches to to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing between 160 to 170 pounds. He had a thin build and a dark complexion.

He's said to be in his mid 20's to late 30's. He was wearing a black business suit with a light colored tie.

Anyone who recognizes this man or know anything about the case is asked to call police.
