HOUSTON -

Police in Houston and Pasadena are searching for two armed robbers who hijacked a truck, then pulled off an armed robbery and home invasion in a 2-hour period just before sunrise.

The suspects are described as young Asian males. Both men were last seen wearing gray hoodies.

It began at 4:37 a.m. when the suspects pulled a handgun on a man who was warming up his truck in the driveway of his home in 10400 block of Sagebluff. The victim wasn't harmed, but the suspects drove off in his 2012 Chevy Silverado pickup truck.

At 6:15 a.m. the suspects confronted another homeowner who left his car idling in his driveway in the 11200 block of Kelly Hill Court. The victim came out of his house to find the suspects standing next to his car; one of them was holding a gun. They left the car this time, but took the man's wallet.

Then around 7 a.m. in Pasadena the gunmen walked into a home in the 5000 block of Bower Crest through an open garage door. They confronted a woman who was there alone, taking her wedding ring and a couple of purses.

Pasadena police spokesman Vance Mitchell says some of the items taken from the home were later found discarded, including the victim's identification.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspects to call Houston Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
