CONROE – The incident happened Wednesday morning around 10.
Two 7-year-old girls climbed a tree near their Conroe condo complex, the Pinewood, located at 811 I-45 South.
A few minutes later a stranger also climbed the tree, unzipped his pants and exposed himself to the girls -- but that’s not all he did.
“He pinched their bottoms,“ said one of the girls’ mothers. She asked that her identity be concealed. “He helped them down the tree and asked if they were coming back to play.”
The girls were scared and ran home but waited a few hours before they told their parents about the incident.
One mother called the police as soon as she learned about it.
Conroe police are investigating. They are reviewing surveillance video from nearby businesses and apartment complexes to see if there is an image of the man.
They have a vague description of him.
The suspect is described as a black man between 20-30 years old.
He was wearing gray shorts, a white tank top and black sneakers. He has not been seen in the neighborhood since.
“People just need to be aware of where their children are at all times,” said the mother.
