GALVESTON, Texas – The Galveston Independent School District is investigating after reports of a shooter on the Ball High School campus.
School district police arrested the person who reported the threat. Police said the suspect is not a student at the school.

Administrators released a statement to parent saying, "The actor sent a series of text messages to a student and very quickly it was all over social media. The threat has been eliminated and a young juvenile has been taken into custody."
Officers said no gun or shooter was found on the campus, but as a precaution extra officers were positioned around the school.
