Police: Man swiped $7K in Burberry items from Houston store

Man stole bags, shirts from high-end store, police say

HOUSTON – Police said they are looking for a man who stole more than $7,000 worth of items last month from a Burberry store in Houston.

The theft happened about 7 p.m. July 10 at a high-end store at The Galleria.

According to Houston police, the man grabbed several Burberry shirts and bags, valued at about $7,600, and then ran out of the store.

The man was described as 25 to 35 years old, between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall and weighing about 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering and black shorts.

Anyone with information about the case was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
