HOUSTON – A man is facing several drug charges after he was arrested twice in two days.

When an officer patted him down, they found a prescription bottle containing marijuana and a wad of cash totaling more than $3,000, officials said.

Inside his car, officers said they found Alprazolam and Hydrocodone pills, numerous flyers and paperwork for pain clinics, empty prescription bottles, along with a ledger documenting drug transactions.

Dodds was also found to be driving with a suspended driver's license with a prior conviction.

The next day, Dodds was arrested again in the 400 block of Windsor in Friendswood after a resident reported two suspicious men walking around her front yard. Police said Dodds was looking for a bag of pills he had dropped the previous day, before he was pulled over.

The bag, containing over 100 grams of Hydrocodone and more than 30 grams of Soma, was found by an officer after the initial arrest.

Dodds was taken into custody for a second time for driving with a suspended license.

Officers searched his vehicle and found a bag of marijuana under the passenger seat, investigators said.

Dodds' passenger, Christopher Eugene Harrison, was also taken into custody.
