DICKINSON, Texas -

The Galveston County Sheriff's Department is investigating an online threat of a riot at Dickinson High School.

School officials ordered extra security and administrators to the school after a Facebook page called Operation Murder Kill DHS was discovered.  The post calls for anyone who has been bullied by students at the school to "riot" on campus Nov. 15.

"Not talking about guns and death," the post said. "Just a little loud episode of rage."

School administrators released a statement acknowledging the remarks reading in part:

"Please know that our day began this morning as normal with no incidents. We have extra police officers on duty at the campus, and we have additional administrators on campus to help supervise and monitor."

Some students said they plan to skip school Nov. 15 as a precaution.

"I told my dad I wasn't going to school that day just to be safe," senior Chase Brister said.

"I know several students concerned about it," senior Joel White added. "Others just might not want to go to school that day."

School officials say the Galveston County Sheriff's Office is investigating and there were no reports of any incidents on campus Monday.
