Police investigate report of car being shot at in Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND, Texas – Police said they are investigating a report of car that was shot Wednesday morning in Sugar Land.

The shooting was reported about 12:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 59.

According to Sugar Land police, a driver said he or she was driving on Highway 59 when someone in another vehicle shot at his or her car. The victim said he or she exited onto Highway 6, and were followed by a black Impala, police said.

The driver of the first car pulled into the parking lot of a Kroger at the intersection of Highway 6 and Voss Road, police said.

Police said no injuries were reported.
