Houston police said Harris picked up a 15-year-old girl in the 9500 block of Plainfield on March 8 and asked her how much she charged for a date. According to court documents, the girl told Harris that she wanted $200 and he then identified himself as a police officer.

Harris patted the girl down and then called the girl's aunt to tell her the girl had been arrested on a prostitution charge, detectives said. Harris made several phone calls and then told the girl that there was a warrant for her arrest out of Kansas, police said.

Investigators said Harris told the teen that he would let her go free if she had sex with him. Harris took the girl behind a building and the two had sex, police said.

The teen cried throughout the encounter, officials said.

Police said Harris then went to a fast-food restaurant, bought food and called the girl's aunt and told her that he was dropping the girl off because he couldn't find a female officer to take the girl to jail. The aunt then picked the girl up at the restaurant.

Harris is being held in the Harris County Jail without bond.
