LA PORTE, Texas – La Porte officials said they were able to identify and link a Friendswood man to
up to five car thefts by using blood that was left at the scene of one of the crimes.
Police said Marky Lee Baker, 29, is responsible for a number of car thefts in the city. Investigators said they were able to find the match because Baker's DNA was already in the FBI's computer system.
La Porte police have issued a warrant for Baker's arrest. Anyone with information about Baker's whereabouts or any additional information should call La Porte Police at (281) 471-2141.
