HOUSTON – A 26-mile police chase through north Harris County started in Conroe Monday night, according to authorities.
Police said two people walked out of the Best Buy store on Interstate 45 with televisions and laptops. The loss prevention officer called 911 and the officer spotted the car involved nearby, police said. That's when the chase started.

The driver was caught at the Gulf Freeway when the chase ended, officials said. A woman who was with him was able to get away.
