HOUSTON – A driver was arrested a police chase in northwest Houston.
An officer said he spotted a man standing next to a car near E. Tidwell Road near Cortlandt Street around midnight, in what appeared to be a drug deal.

When the driver began to leave and the officer attempted to pull him over, police said he took off.
Police said the chase ended in the front yard of a home on Anabel Lane near E. Witcher Ln.
The man tried to run away, but was quickly apprehended. His name has not been released.
