HOUSTON - Police in Houston say a 27-year-old woman appears to have died from drinking too much alcohol.

Houston police said authorities were called to a southwest Houston apartment around 1 a.m. Sunday after Rosa Marcos-Nava's boyfriend found her unresponsive and with unknown discharge coming from her nose and mouth.

Paramedics found her dead when they arrived.

Her boyfriend told police she had consumed large quantities of alcohol, said she felt dizzy when she was helped to a nearby bedroom.

Police said an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the official cause of death.
