Police arrest two men in fast food drive-thru

Officers say the men were in a stolen SUV

HOUSTON –  Two people were taken into custody after they drove a stolen SUV through a fast food drive-thru.

Investigators said the SUV went through a drive-thru at the Jack In The Box on Airline near East Rittenhouse in northeast Houston.

A patrol officer had been following the SUV around 1 a.m. after running the plates and the SUV came back stolen.

Officers blocked the entrance and exit of the drive-thru.

Two men were taken into custody without incident.

The driver faces unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charges.

The passenger was checked for warrants and possible involvement with the car theft.
