HOUSTON -

An argument between two women at a north Houston restaurant ended with gunfire and police in search of the shooter.

Around 9:45 p.m. Friday, investigators said two women were in some sort of argument at a restaurant on Berry Road near Meta.

At some point, officials said one of the women pulled a gun and shot the other, then took off.

Thanks to several witnesses, police said they have a good lead on the identity of the shooter.

The woman was rushed to the hospital in stable condition.
