TEXAS CITY, Texas – Plans for an amusement park in Texas City are moving forward.
Officials said that permits have been issued for the first two buildings of the planned amusement park called Adventure Pointe.
The 25-acre park will sit off Interstate 45 near the Tanger outlet mall.
Adventure Pointe is the brainchild of a local cardiologist Harvey Slusky. His father created Playland Park, which came before Astroworld.
