Pizza delivery man, accused of online solicitation of a minor
Police say person delivery man was communicating with online, turned out to be law enforcement
A pizza delivery man has been arrested after police say he tried to have sex with a juvenile.
Police say 46-year-old Gary Daniel Kuhns, who goes by Danny, was cruising social networking sites for young boys.
After talking with a 16-year-old boy online for two days, police said Kuhns went to a convenience store in Porter on Wednesday to meet and have sex him.
However, the person police said Kuhns had been communicating with online, turned out to be law enforcement.
Kuhns was arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor.
"Got a phone call last night that he was arrested," said Amy Brubaker, Domino's general manager.
Kuhns worked for Domino's Pizza in Kingwood. As soon as his employer heard of his charges, she immediately fired him.
"I am a mother and my son who works here is 17, so immediately I was disgusted and disappointed," said Brubaker.
Brubaker said before they hired Kuhns to deliver pizzas, they ran a background check, but there were no red flags.
"There was never anything to make any of us think that he would do something like this," said Brubaker.
Kuhns remains in the Montgomery County Jail and his bond is set at $100,000.
