U of H saying no to UT expansion in Houston

HOUSTON – The University of Houston board of regents is voicing its concern over the university of Texas and its plans to expand in Houston.

The U of H regents just passed a resolution expressing strong concern.

UT revealed plans earlier this month to acquire more than 300 acres of land off Buffalo Point just miles from the Texas Medical Center.

U of H officials claim too many universities within a 6-mile radius would be competing for a share of state resources.
