Person attempting to call 911 during gas station robbery shot in shoulder, deputies say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Two armed men entered a Chevron gas station Wednesday morning and demanded money, authorities said. 

Deputies said two men wearing black hoodies entered the Chevron gas station near Highway 249 and Boudreax Road around 6 a.m. Wednesday.

One of the two men was masked and armed and demanded money from the cashier and six customers, deputies said.

One of the customers attempted to call 911, but the two robbers noticed and shot the customer in the shoulder, authorities said.

The two men fled with an unknown amount of cash, deputies said.

The victim was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in The Woodlands with non-life-threatening injuries.
