HOUSTON – A man has died after being struck by a METRO train near NRG Stadium Sunday evening, police said.
The incident was reported around 6:04 p.m. at Fannin Street near 610 Freeway.

Houston police said a man was riding his bicycle on the service road when he turned and was hit by the train. He was transported to Ben Taub Hospital.
Police said the scene was cleared at 6:40 p.m. and Metro trains are back running.
