The boys from the Pearland Little League team spent their day watching games, eating snacks and just being kids before their game Tuesday.

You wouldn't be able to tell they are facing a must-win situation tonight in the Little League World Series.

But the All-Stars manager Don Smith says that is exactly how they are supposed to be acting.

"We are going to have fun and we are going to try our best to win," he said. "You have to give these kids a once in a lifetime experience and we have to give them the opportunity to experience it just like everybody else."

Pearland plays Great Lakes from the Chicago area. But there is a catch in this game. Pearland is out of its main pitchers because of Little League-imposed pitching regulations.

"We've pretty much settled on a person but haven't made that final call," Smith said. "We switched it around a little bit yesterday last minute. So we are going to toy with it throughout the afternoon but we have it in our mind who we are going to go with.

More than 10,000 people are expected to be in attendance for the game at 6:30 p.m.
