Pasadena bomb squad called to park to contain suspicious backpack

HOUSTON – The Pasadena bomb squad was at Strawberry Park at 1114 Parkside Drive checking out a suspicious backpack on Tuesday night, according to police.

The backpack was left in the park with a sign that read "FREE."

The park was temporarily shut down as a precaution.

The bomb squad left the scene when a woman returned to the park to pick up her bowling ball.
