Paid parking along Seawall enforced

Officials warn beachgoers to avoid fines

Galveston police to add seawall parking district

GALVESTON, TEXAS – The city of Galveston is reminding all residents and visitors that the Seawall paid parking program is being enforced.

Paid parking areas include the north and south sides of Seawall Boulevard from 6th street to 69th street, along with 81st to 103rd street. The area between 69th street and 81st street is free of charge.

Residents and visitors can use a mobile app, the internet, or a mobile phone to pay for parking in designated areas. Cash payments are also accepted at Island Bicycle, Ohana Surf and Skate, 61st Street Pier and 91st Street Pier.

The fee for parking is $1.00 per hour or $8.00 for the day. You can also buy an annual pass for $25.00
