Over 20,000 pounds of broccoli salad recalled

Possible Listeria contamination

WASHINGTON – Taylor Farms is recalling 22,849 pounds of broccoli salad kits over a possible Listeria contamination.

The kits were sold to food retailers (delis) as "Broccoli Crunch With Bacon And Dressing".  The salad kits were shipped to distributors and food retailers in Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.

According to the USDA's website, Listeria can cause fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion, and sometimes diarrhea.
