One man hospitalized, two others on the run after shooting

Police say a man was shot for refusing to give his wallet to two men in southeast Houston.

The victim was held at gun point around 12:10 a.m. Sunday as he was walking to his apartment complex, according to Houston police.

Investigators said two men demanded the victim’s wallet. When he refused, the men shot him in the arm.

The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition and the two alleged attackers did not get away with any money, according to police.

The victim said he recognized the two men because he had seen them around the complex before, according to police.
