HOUSTON – Firefighters are investigating after a 2-alarm fire at a northwest Harris County apartment complex..
The blaze happened at around 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Village of Copperfield apartments in the 8700 block of Point Park Drive.
We're told one person was transported to the hospital. There is no word on their condition.
The Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department says eight units were destroyed and seven families have been displaced.
The Red Cross is headed to the scene to assist those families.
