No other details were released by CPS, but the agency said he is in CPS custody and that it appears he was "well taken care of."

Investigators with CPS told KPRC2 Porch's foster family reported him missing on Sept. 29, after he allegedly walked out of their home because he was unhappy about something.

Since then, CPS, law enforcement, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children searched for Porch.

Officials said a special investigator traveled to San Antonio to follow reports of Porch being with relatives there. Porch was not found in San Antonio.

Investigators said it may be the case that Porch is staying with a friend and that friend's parents. While that family might think they're helping Porch, officials stressed it would not be helpful.

"They may think that they're helping him by keeping him away from his foster family, but that's actually not good because they're actually harboring a runaway at this point," said Tiffany Butler, spokesperson, CPS.

Porch has been in foster care since September 2013, officials told KPRC2, the past year has been with the family from whom he ran away last month.
