Pasadena man accused of attacking crossing guard

A man is in jail after allegedly attacking a school crossing guard.

Police said Darrick Collins, 35, threw punches at Richey Elementary School's crossing guard and broke his stop sign after he was told to turn down his music in a school zone.

Officials said Collins also shouted profanities and drove off.

Officers eventually caught up to Collins and arrested him.
