SPRING, Texas -

No injuries were reported when a helicopter crashed Thursday morning at a Spring airport.

At around 11:30 a.m., a helicopter crashed at Hooks Airport in northwest Harris County.

The Cy Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene, but Harris County sheriff's deputies say there was no fire from the crash and that no one was injured.

From Sky 2 aerials, the aircraft appears to be a gyro-copter with text on the side that reads 'Police' and 'City of Tomball.'

The craft is owned by the city of Tomball and was coming back from a patrol mission when it had a hard landing.

Tomball police say the wind caused the plane to flip while landing.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating at the scene.
