Nine arrested during street racing initiative

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies say they have arrested nine people after conducting a drag racing initiative.

The initiative was held this past weekend in Harris County during TX2K,one of the largest drag racing events in the country.

TX2K takes place in Austin County. Thousands of spectators come out to the event; many of them use Harris County streets to race.
