HOUSTON – Houston police are looking for two men in connection with a Wednesday night home invasion and shooting.
According to police, the two men jumped the fence of a home at Fall Lake Apartments in the 1400 block of Greens Parkway in north Houston around 10:45. Police said the men tried to kick in the apartment door but were met by a resident with a gun. The resident fired the weapon from the window of the apartment, the two men shot back, police said. The resident was shot in the leg and taken to Ben Taub Hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police continue to investigate.
