HOUSTON -

The University of Houston is getting a name for its new newly constructed football stadium.

The university will hold a press conference Tuesday afternoon to reveal the naming gift.

The naming rights for the 40,000-seat stadium have been bought by Texas Dow Employees Credit Union.

The facility will be known as TDEC Stadium as part of the agreement.

The Cougars open their new stadium Aug. 29 against UTSA.
