FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – HazMat crews have cleared the scene of a chemical spill in the Richmond area.
According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, an ABC Pest Control truck and another vehicle collided on Highway 99 northbound at FM 1903, the Grand Parkway.

The truck, which was carrying acid, overturned and the chemical spilled onto the road.
FM 1093 eastbound and northbound Highway 99 were temporarily closed until the area was cleaned. The roads reopened just before 11 a.m.
Two people were transported by EMS.
