On Dec. 8, 2013, Houston police say a witness found Carson under a bridge near the bayou at 4500 Richey Road. The witness then notified another individual who called 911 and reported the incident.

According to police, further investigation determined that Carson was with a witness at his Houston home when Carson went downstairs. The witness then heard gunshots. The witness ran to a balcony, but was unable to locate Carson.  The witness then called Carson's family, who called 911.

Deputies responded and filed a missing person report.

Investigators say they were lead to the vehicle used during the shooting and dumping of Carson's body. Witnesses then identified Johnson and Rasheed Shelton as suspects in this case. Shelton, 20, is charged with tampering with evidence and is currently in the Harris County Jail.

Then on Wednesday, the Houston police say they obtained information that Johnson was at a residence at 803 West 39th Street. When officers arrived at the residence, Johnson fled on foot.

Police say family members said Johnson was driving a white Chevrolet Impala which was determined to be stolen in the Greenspoint area earlier that day.

Investigators also say they recovered a semi-automatic pistol inside the vehicle, and at least two credit cards determined to be stolen in an aggravated robbery that same day.

Johnson remains at large and is considered extremely dangerous, according to police.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Johnson is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
