A New Caney man is accused of taking advantage of young men and boys inside his mobile home, investigators said.
John Mark Tanner, 49, was arrested Friday after a months-long Montgomery County Pct. 4 investigation.
According to authorities, Tanner would prey upon vulnerable young men and minors who were in desperate need of a place to stay.
Deputies said the youngest alleged victim was only 15-years-old.
"I've seen some guys come here all the time," said next door neighbor Anthony Martinez about Tanner. "I always see lots of cars go in there and I never knew what. I thought it was a party or something."
Other neighbors were also shocked by the news.
"He's just always been a good neighbor," Pat Daughenbaug said. "And I don't know anything going on over there."
Investigators said without consent, Tanner would videotape himself sexually assaulting the young men while they were passed out from drugs or alcohol.
He's also accused of using a hidden camera to record his victims taking showers and using the bathroom.
Records indicate Tanner has been in trouble with the law before.
In 1999, he was charged with aggravated assault causing bodily injury. He's also been arrested on drug charges five different times.
Investigators believe there may be other young men and boys who were also victimized by Tanner and they're hoping they'll come forward.
