NEW YORK – After the huge success of NBC's live stage production of The Sound of Music this holiday season, NBC has announced that a new, live musical is in the works for this year.
On December 4, NBC will present Peter Pan.

Just like The Sound of Music, Peter Pan will be a live theater production.
Last year's performance featured country music singer Carrie Underwood, and was seen by an audience of 18 million viewers.
Casting decisions for Peter Pan have not been announced at this time.
