Mumford & Sons concert in The Woodlands rescheduled

HOUSTON – Mumford & Sons will play in the Houston area in the fall after postponing their concert earlier this month.

The band postponed their sold-out June 12 concert at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands after one of the band members's had an unexpected health emergency.

The band said on their Facebook page, "We are pleased to report that our beloved Ted is making a steady recovery from his operation and wearing his newly acquired shaven-headed hairstyle with enviable levels of suave. A huge, huge thank you to all for your messages of support; the man himself is rather overwhelmed."

Mumford & Sons will now perform at The Pavilion on September 17.

All tickets from the June 12 concert will be honored for the new concert. Tickets for the concert are currently not on sale, but any refunded tickets will put on sale at a later date.

The band said, "For an opportunity to purchase tickets for TFE tour dates you'll need to register for the ‘Invitation Onsale': http://po.st/regTFE (a simple process and the most effective way we've found to ensure the real fans get in and the ticket touts stay out.) Registration closes on 3rd July and invites will be sent out from 8th July."
