German Arias, 24, was injured in the crash that killed one, early Tuesday morning.
Arias was riding his motorcycle eastbound on the Katy Freeway when he saw the crash happen in front of him, he couldn't stop in time.
"I hit the car and let go of the steering wheel," Arias said. "I flew up and flipped two times."
Arias suffered a broken femur and wrist. He's already has two surgeries and his bones are being held together with pins. He worries about the future and wonders how he'll be able to work as a mechanic and support his young son.
Arias said his life is changed forever because of one person's decision to drive.
"How drunk do you have to be to drive a vehicle and go against the freeway?" he said.
