HOUSTON -

Police are searching for a motorcycle rider who hit a pedestrian in west Houston and then tried to hide the evidence.

Houston police say a man tried to cross Highway 6 at Piping Rock late Thursday night when he was hit by a motorcycle.

Officials say the motorcyclist then picked his bike up and left the street.
