SPRING, Texas – A motorcyclist is dead after running a red light and crashing into a trailer in Spring.
The deadly crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of FM 2920 and Nannette Street, deputies said.

Investigators said an SUV with a trailer was making a U-turn when the motorcyclist rode between vehicles stopped at a red light, crossed the intersection and slammed into the back of the trailer.
Three people were inside the SUV, but no one was hurt.
The motorcyclist was killed at the scene. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, deputies said.
