HOUSTON – A Houston mother is in trouble after police said she left her four young children unsupervised and without food for hours.
Houston police said on the afternoon of August 23 they received a hang up 911 call from an apartment in the 6200 block of Antoine.

An HPD officer stopped by the northwest Houston apartment and found four kids, three boys ages 4, 6 and 8 and a 9-year-old girl, home alone.
According to court documents, one of the kids asked the officer to take them to the police station so they could get something to eat.
Authorities said the officer waited a couple of hours for the mother, Monique Clark, to return home.
Authorities did not say where Clark was during the time she was away from her kids.
Clark is charged with endangering a child.
She posted a $2,000 bond.
