In Fort Bend County, high water threatens the commutes of Tuesday morning drivers along the Grand Parkway.

As of Tuesday morning, there haven't been any reports of flooding in the area.

However, more than a half a dozen cars were stranded near the entrance to the Westpark Tollway and Cinco Ranch Boulevard  Monday afternoon.

Some cars stalled and had to be pushed out of the water by their drivers, while others where completely stuck for hours.

According to Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, a total of nine cars were towed from the area.

Deputies were force to close all access to the intersection until water levels went down.

Officials warn Tuesday morning drivers to avoid flooded roads, or stay home if the rain continues as it did on Monday.
