HOUSTON - Moody Gardens in Galveston has a new family member named after a Houston Texan.
The new King Penguin chick is named Watt, after Texans player J.J. Watt.
The chick overcame a serious injury it suffered shortly after hatching.
With the help of Moody Garden biologists, Watt is now doing fine.
According to Moody Gardens, the gender of the young chick is still unknown, so tests will have to be done.
Like all other chicks, the new King Penguin will only be on exhibit with its parents for a limited time.
