HOUSTON -

This week’s Freebie Friday could also be dubbed "Frozen Friday."

If the ice kept you cooped up inside all day with kids, you might be looking for something to get you out of the house this weekend. Local 2 consumer expert Amy Davis has put together a list of fun and FREE things to do.

Fans will be running the bases and swinging bats on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Minute Maid Park  at the Astros Fan Fest. You can also take photos in the dugout and listen to stories from Milo Hamilton. Fan Fest is free, but you have to print out a voucher.

Celebrate Arbor Day at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Kids can make recycled paper hats, visit Johnny Appleseed and get a free pine seedling.

If your kids like Legos, take them a Barnes and Noble on Saturday for a hands-on learning event to count down to the upcoming Lego movie. Start times vary at each location, so make sure you look up the event at the Barnes and Noble closest to you.

Just in time for flu season, you can sign up to receive two free Breathe Right strips by mail.

Or if the wind has your skin cracked, get free lotion, chapstick or cream just for watching a 30 second video on Nivea's Facebook page.

We've got your lunch covered on Friday, January 31. Print out this coupon or call it up on your smartphone to get a free Firecracker Chicken Breast from Panda Express to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
