There's lots of food, music and family fun to enjoy this weekend with events all over town.

Our friends at Houston on the Cheap rounded up this week's Freebie Friday report.

If you're out shopping Saturday, pick up a free pretzel at Pretzelmaker locations. You'll find them at Deerbrook, Willowbrook, Memorial City and Woodlands Mall and the Premium Outlets in Cypress. The giveaway celebrates National Pretzel Day and they'll be accepting donations for charity.

Celebrate San Jacinto Day and Texas Independence on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the San Jacinto Monument. The event features Texas-themed entertainment and a re-enactment of the legendary battle.

Don't miss the nature fest at Bridgelands in Cypress. It's happening Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and there's tons of family fun in store, including armadillo races, free kayak lessons, laser tag and pony rides.

Have a picnic in the park, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Police Memorial in Buffalo Bayou Park. The free event features lawn games, live music, boat rides and face painting. Parking is free too!

And enjoy free music Saturday at the San Jacinto College Choral Festival. It starts at 7 p.m. at the Central Campus Music Building on Spencer Highway. The concert features hymns, choral music and a huge finale with 100 singers on stage.
