It's Easter weekend which means Easter egg hunts for the kids, plus Earth Day celebrations and more in this week's Freebie Friday.

Our Easter egg hunt roundup begins in Macgregor Park on Houston's south side. On Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., stop by the city's official Easter festival featuring a whopping 100,000 Easter eggs. The event also includes live entertainment, a carnival and face painting.

The Sugar Creek Baptist Church is sponsoring 11 different Easter egg hunts  in Sugar Land and Missouri City on Saturday. They're happening at playgrounds, churches and community club  houses throughout the area.

Moody Gardens in Galveston is hosting its Easter in the Garden event on Sunday starting at 11 a.m. It features free Easter egg hunts for different age groups, plus games, a petting zoo, Easter bunny photos and more.

Earth Day celebrations are happening Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Nature Discovery Center in Bellaire. The day features nature walks, live music and family-friendly activities.

And head to the Children's Festival at Central Green Park in Katy for live music, crafts, a giant slide and face painting. It's happening Saturday from 11a.m. to 5 p.m. in the park located at Lacenterra at Cinco Ranch.
